About the Reiki Program
Every session is customized because every individual has different needs. I offer 30, 60 and 90 minute sessions. My place is sacred and upon entering will evoke a deep state of relaxation, improved energy, overall balance, and wellbeing. Sessions may include energy healing plates, personalized crystal grids, hemi-sync music, plant essence therapy, and even energy cards. I also offer high vibration food programs you can take home that will extend and amplify your experience. All food programs include recipes, shopping lists, a guide, and education on how to "unlock" the energetic frequencies of foods in your everyday diet.
How It Works
Reiki is a Japanese ENERGY HEALING treatment that works holistically on the body, and spirit that promotes healing and overall wellness. It's NOT a system of religious beliefs, Reiki is simply a relaxing treatment where natural healing vibrations are transmitted through my hands. During the Reiki treatment, the pure flow of energy is re-aligned within the body. It washes down, clearing obstructions and strengthening the flow of energy. This will not only help you feel physically better, but it allows you to be connected to the understanding of your purpose on earth and the most effective way of achieving it.
Your Reiki treatment will relieve stress and pain, induce relaxation, release emotional blockages, accelerate natural healing, balance energies and support other medical modalities including traditional therapies.

Connie's professional background in the health and wellness field coupled with her experience as a Usui Master Reiki Therapist and Oncology Master Reiki Therapist as well as a member of the International Association of Reiki Professionals is uniquely fitting to help guide you in your healing or transformation journey using safe, natural, holistic measures coupled with healing foods for the body. Connie has received many honors and awards for her work at Cedars Sinai, St Joseph Health Systems, and CMS (Center of Medicare/Medicaid Services). She tried out for Team USA Olympic Canoe and Kayak team at the age of 55 and now holds 5 world medals in her sport. What To Expect
You will remain fully clothed laying comfortably on the massage table. I will gently place my hands on or above your body, using intuition to guide energy flow. You may experience warmth, light tingling or simply a deep relaxation. Your whole body will be treated or just specific parts depending on where imbalances may lie.
BEFORE YOUR SESSION
Relax + Reflect
Give yourself at least 30 minutes prior to the session to sit and reflect, particularly checking in with how your body is feeling and anything you are noticing with regards to emotions, thoughts, or physical sensations.
Take some time to breathe and also tend to whatever your body's needs might be on that given day. You may want to reflect on any intentions you want to set for your session and anything you want to share with me before we begin your session.
Eat + Hydrate
You'll want to be sure you've eaten and hydrated a few hours before the session, mostly so you will be as comfortable as possible and not distracted by hunger or thirst.
Avoid eating a heavy meal beforehand as you don't want all of your body's energy to be directed toward digesting while you're receiving your treatment.
I will have you lay down for the majority of your session, so comfort is key for being open to taking on and integrating the Reiki energy. Be sure you are wearing comfortable clothes. I usually recommend my clients either wear or bring socks since shoes are removed during the session and the feet can get cold.
You'll want to use the restroom before the session, and if the position you are in for your session is uncomfortable in any way, let me know as I want to make sure you are as comfortable as possible.
AFTER YOUR SESSION
Many of the treatment benefits occur soon after the session is over and as such, it's important to find somewhere quiet and relaxing to integrate what may arise.
I recommend you take at least 15-20 minutes after the session to meditate, take a walk on the beach which is just 1 block away, or even nap. Try not to book or schedule anything immediately after your session.
After doing energy work it's important to hydrate, so be sure to drink 1-2 glasses of water after your session. I find adding electrolytes to your water can also be helpful, as it helps to replenish the body.
Energy work is often hungry work, and you may find yourself hungry immediately after your session. Be sure you listen to your body and choose a healthy snack or meal afterward if needed. Eating can also help ground the body and as a bonus, you may find that a piece of dark chocolate (70% or higher cacao) will be quite restorative.
It's often helpful to spend some time after the session reflecting, so I recommend that clients journal, draw or somehow capture any insights they had during and immediately after the session. You may also decide to meditate afterward or listen to calming and/or inspirational music. Whatever you choose to do, find an activity that helps you connect to what you've experienced so you can draw on it in the future.

How Many Sessions Should I Receive?
Most people realize the healing benefits of Reiki in just one session feeling refreshed and more energized. However, in the presence of a serious health challenge, I typically recommend a Four Session Healing Package that would include a customized meal plan. We will discuss this at your first session.
